Onto the performance tests. As usual we've put together a series of comparison tests showing the same levels running on PS3 and 360. Un mélange de Wipeout et de Need For Speed qui ne prend pas, les deux approches étant aussi incompatibles que l'huile et l'eau, sans compter le ridicule du concept sur des véhicles réalistes bien que la conduite soit évidemment très arcade...

Digital Foundry hearts Blur. Eurogamer has already gone into depth about why the game is so good to play in its review, but this appreciation is only strengthened when you experience the scale of the technical achievement on offer: full 720p resolution, high levels of anti-aliasing, up to 20 cars on-screen at any point, a large, highly detailed rear-view mirror, masses of post-processing effects, no LOD popping. The list goes on. Gilbert, Ben (June 4, 2010). "Review: Blur (X360)". Engadget ( Joystiq). Yahoo. Archived from the original on February 24, 2011 . Retrieved April 8, 2023. It Wouldn’t Be Racing Without Multiplayer – Blur offers gamers a new kind of racing experience that allows them to race with friends and as part of a network of players in high intensity competition and fun. The game supports competitive and cooperative gameplay, including team and objective based race events, and also features 4 player split-screen for playing with friends from the comfort of the couch. Blur also introduces Custom Groups – where anyone can create unique multiplayer modes based on their favorite ways to play the game. These new modes are then shared through Blur’s social network, expanding the game in ways only limited by the gaming community’s creativity.

So, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360? The stakes are high. What we have is a title that pushes technical barriers in pursuit of an overall gameplay experience that is quite unique: tech deficiencies will impact the overall look and feel of the game. Bearing in mind the legion of technical accomplishments, surely something's got to give?a b Davis, Ryan (May 25, 2010). "Blur Review (PS3, X360)". Giant Bomb. Fandom. At its very core it is Project Gotham Racing: take to the circuit with semi-sim, semi-arcade car handling and earn "fans" (as opposed to kudos) by racing creatively. But there's much more to Blur than its PGR inspired core. The power-up racing concept is very much a Mario Kart staple, though here... But there's much more to Blur than its PGR inspired core. The power-up racing concept is very much a Mario Kart staple, though here it feels more in-tune with Wipeout here. The aesthetic is very neon-lit futuristic like Wipeout, with some of the power-ups even sharing a resemblance with the futuristic racer.
