Far from Saints is the debut album by the titular trio Far from Saints, composed of Welsh singer-songwriter Kelly Jones and Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker of the American band The Wind and The Wave, who became friends with Jones after touring with his band Stereophonics in 2013. Opening with a gentle acoustic riff from Dwight Baker, ‘Screaming Hallelujah’ begins with soulful, bittersweet call-and-response vocals from Patty Lynn and Kelly Jones before their harmonies intertwine with an audibly organic bond on the song’s soaring, dramatic hook. The Debut Album

Far From Saints’ debut studio album is due for release at some point in the early summer, per a press release. The LP was written and produced by the band, with mixing from the Grammy-nominated Al Clay ( Blur, Pixies). Recording what became Far From Saints' self-titled debut - which is released on Friday - only took nine days. The pandemic, however, meant its release would have to wait.
