Encourage creative thinking. The cards included in the game are deceptively simple—it’s actually harder to pin down what your card is than you might think! Players have to be creative with their questions; for example, asking Am I smaller than a toaster? will give you a better idea of what your card could be than just asking Am I small? Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store.

If you’re making your own game that you intend to use often for family game nights, consider a set like this one so each family member can have their own designated color. I’m a big fan of color coding my family.To achieve this in your homemade game, you just need a way to hold the clue cards on each player’s forehead. Since we have four females in our home, we had a ready supply of elastic headbands on hand so that’s what we use. The “official” game has 60-second rounds but you can make your rounds however short or long you want, as long as they are the same for both players/teams. Six adjustable headbands and over 60 cards are included, so there’s plenty of fun for everyone! Hedbanz is recommended for ages 7 and up. Gameplay is pretty straightforward, with players starting in the middle and working towards clues. If their dice roll isn’t successful, the thief is one step closer to escaping.Now, let’s get started! Put on your headband, choose a card, and put it in the holder on your headband … but don’t peek! The other players can see what your card says, but for now, it’s a mystery to you! Complexity: It never hurts to challenge a child, but when it’s something that’s supposed to be fun, you don’t want the difficulty level to spoil the game. Depending on your child’s age and development, you may want to choose a game that doesn’t have too many rules, or where the rules are easy to follow. It’s also worth considering whether they will do better with fast-paced games or slow, methodical games. The point of the game being that each person has to guess what their card says, the catch being everyone else knows except the person with the card. It’s an awesome indoor game for kids (and adults). To make it a little more competitive, you can also have a timer and give each person 1-minute to ask their YES or NO questions. If in that time they have not guessed correctly what is on their card, the next person then gets a 1-minute turn. Continue on with each person taking 1 minute until someone guesses their card correctly.
