Both these filters can be dusted clean or washed in warm water, if you do wash them please make sure that they are dried thoroughly before re fitting them. Clean the blue fibre filter and the spongy bit. Switch the cleaner on and press the brush control switch to 'on' - Push the buttonindicated in the picturewith the green arrow. (the brushes will only spin if switched on) Firstly empty the contents of the dust box, to do this place the cleaner over your dustbin and press the release catch as shown to open the dust box flap. The dirt will empty out into your dustbin. Unclip the dust container and place it over your dust bin. Press the release to empty out the contents. The dust container and separator unit inside can be washed in warm water. Please ensure it has dried out thoroughly before re fitting. Doing this on a regular basis will keep the vacuum cleaner working well and with a good suction power.

There are 2 filters on your product, the first one is found behind the paperbag. Open the dust box by pressing the catch at the front and take out the paper bag. If your bag is more than 2/3 full it’s a good idea to throw it away and pop a new one in. Now slide the yellow filter up to get it out of the rear of the bag compartment. You can clean this filter by using a brush to free it from dust and then wash it in warm water. Take the container to your dustbin or a bin bag and press the release trigger to open the flap, shake the container to release all of the dirt.
