About this deal

Hi 8r... I have not yet had the time to do anything like a comparative test but I have tried it with a variety of antennas including the two it was supplied with. It does not seem to be particularly fast using a Voxi (Vodafone) sim. In fact it seemed slower than the two mifi devices I am testing - the Huawei E5785 and Netgear AirCard AC790. I get the feeling it's strengths lie elsewhere - it seems very robust, can be operated remotely and the operating system allows it to be configured in many ways. It is easy to get it going and delivering the Internet onto a wired network but to go any further is going to require some serious reading for me ! It may well be that it could be tuned in some way to be faster. As such, you might want to consider the new Three 4G Hub or another network option instead, as it might not cost more overall, and in the case of the Three 4G Hub you’ll get higher speeds.

Mine worked perfectly well in 4G in an incoming call. Perhaps it is to do with the Three service area. The 715 can be got for around 140-150, but the 818 looks significantly better for around 200+. Then there's the really nice 5G Pro - for around 350-425! Oletusasetuksena Kanava-valikossa on Auto. Usein wifi-kanavan vaihto auttaa silloin, kun lähistöllä on paljon muita samaa kanavaa käyttäviä wifi-verkkoja, jotka saattavat ruuhkauttaa kanavan.

There’s also the option to connect an external antenna as it has support for two SMA antennas, to potentially improve the range and performance of the device. This again is a match for most rival devices. I wonder if the delay is because there isn't an equivalent of a send button on a standard wired handset and the delay is the router waiting for a key press. I could still have installed the original firmware, if I had any way to get a copy, but although I found loads of different versions of the firmware, none were the version I had before, and the only ones that seemed like any improvement refused to load. There are several variants of the B525, both handle MORE than you can realistically pull through any of the UK mobile networks: EE have 1800mhz on a mast (double speed) assuming that means 2 carriers on band 3? What would this be classed as intra or inter band?I ask in this thread as I have no hesitation in flashing this firmware to enable additional functionality (once I ensure that everything is working and I am happy of course) I've now recently acquired a B535-232 from Three and noticed that the B535 connects to their network at LTE+ speed, but the B525 (in the same position as the B535 and with an identical Three SIM) only connects at LTE speed. I have a directional antenna, because I have clear line of sight to more than one base station. Works brilliantly: signal level mostly varies between >=-51 and -55dBm, SINR usually around 10dB to 13dB but sometimes it drops to 0. Sorry I not readed to end Your post and my answer it: yes API net-mode allows to change band and enable auto aggregation and forced aggregation (f.e 900+1800). If Yours BTS supports aggregation then it should work. With the B525 is it possible to use it for the inclusive SIM minutes AND receive VOIP calls through the same telephone port ?

The game changes completely when you add in ANY other band, sometimes possible with external antenna. More and more network providers in the world are upgrading their LTE network to LTE-advanced with carrier aggregation technology. Consequently, LTE terminals are demanded by the carriers and end users. As we had introduced before, the Huawei E5186 LTE router is the world’s first LTE-advanced router for LTE Category 6, and it was available in the market for almost two years. It seems happy enough to sit on Band 3 most of the time, but sometimes switches to Band 20, which is much slower, so I've disabled that band in the settings. If you have a good signal for Three on band 3 this is better for you as there is more capacity (15mhz) than on Band 20 (5mhz).
