About this deal
Shadow’s Legacy is a prelude to The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten. This novella pictures the splendid wedding of Meghan’s brother, Ethan Chase. For being the size of the first three books of Cradle, it also has progressionappropriate for that length. Rei starts buried beneath the bottom of the barrel and desperately claws his way to the top. I’m nervous even about what little criticism I’ve included here, in the context of a glowing five-star recommendation.

Other than that I had no care in the world with whom she ended up with. I agree with Will 100% on his description of it. If Rei had the level of support he gets at the end of the book from the third chapter onwards, there wouldn't even be a story - he'd have just roflstomped everyone in his path from the get-go. And if there had been anyone with an ounce of sense in power over him, he would have had that support. Our main character (Rei) is a scrappy underdog who's incredibly, amazingly miserable childhood has given him an iron will and insane work ethic. He's also a genius. Unfortunately his crippled body has set him up for failure because in this universe where iron will, insane work ethic, and genius intellect are worth their weight in unobtanium, and physical weaknesses are trivially solved with fantastic technology and an insane work ethic... almost everyone judges each other immediately almost entirely based on physical strength? Now Meghan must journey into the Nevernever, the dangerous lands of the fey, and rescue not only her brother but also learn secrets about her identity and her missing father. Ash, prince of the Winter Court, has done the unimaginabe, facing adversities no fey has ever faced. And for a reason as inferior to fey as love. He has traveled to the End of the World, solving riddles and facing challenges, all to earn a soul and become human.
People keep asking me for series that are "like Cradle" and I'm like "Eeeehhhh...a lot of the stuff I enjoy isn't reallylike Cradle, and the books that arelike Cradle I often don't enjoy very much."

Thing is... I think it's a hiccup most of you will be excited for when I get to announce what it is ;) A class specializing in using heavy weapons, such as axes and hammers. Heavily skewed towards offense and strength.Badass Teacher: She’s an S-rank fighter and a beloved ex-pro. Every one of her students has a ton of respect for her. The Ace: He's this for Galens as a whole, as the top-ranked third year at A8, which puts him above some of the teachers. He may be this for the whole Astra system as whole. Now, I think the dialogue as a wholein this book is actually pretty strong. Characters come across as relatable but professional, motivated and educated, and convey their emotions clearly and believably.
