These Perplexus toys are great, they are fun and challenging for kids of all ages. Definitely recommend. Quality toy with an educational use. My 7 year old son really enjoys this type of thing which is great for me since he is very hyper and it keeps him still for awhile.

It's challenging, but very enjoyable to maneuver and see who can make it the farthest. We've had it for a few weeks now and neither one of us has come close to conquering it. I gave this Epic maze ball to my 6 year old grandson for his birthday even though it is for age 8+. He mastered one of the easier models last summer. He was a bit overwhelmed at first but couldn't put it down. I am anxious to hear how he does with it but know that he loves the challenge! My 9 year old happens to be incredibly adept at puzzle solving. She'd mastered Perplexus within a day or two. After a week, she's still trying to complete an entire course of Perplexus Epic so I know it's got to be challenging. She did not get her puzzle-solving dexterity from me and so I cannot comment on the level of difficulty. However, I can say that the quality of the globe material is inferior to either the original Perplexus or Perplexus Rookie. My 14 year old brother solved his Rubix cube and was looking for some more fun. I knew the Perplexus was up his ally as I'd seen one in a waiting room. I called during his birthday party and in the middle of all the chaos of friends and cake, he was already playing with the maze. I was quite pleased. He said, "This is going to take me awhile to solve!" Yay I bought this for a my 8, 10, and 15 yo sons. They love it and find it challenging. They have mini competitions with each other which I think is great. I leave it on my bar in my kitchen so they can grab it daily in between their daily task and challenge themselves.The Perplexus has both me (age 64) and my granddaughter (age 6) entertained, challenged, and aggravated .
