I can still remember how I pictured Varjak and his surroundings in my mind's eye, even so vividly to this day. To me, it was so much more than a story about a cat that did martial arts, and still is. So, thank you for inspiring me, and I'm sure many more kids just like me! The tyger's tail thumped behind her. "This stunted little world breaks my heart,' she said. I love it when I read a book and then continue thinking about it long after I've finished it, so it really means a lot to hear that you're still thinking about Sally Bones. The next book after Phoenix will be the one I'm working on now. The working title is TYGER. I'm not sure when it will be finished; I'm on the 3rd draft at the moment, and have been writing it for about a year...
