About this deal

This is one of the best options you can go with if you’re looking to record with skype, doing any pod-casting, you-tube videos, video conferencing, and anything similar. I wouldn’t recommend it much for vocals, although it can be done. The 4 different polar patterns, its rugged build, and remarkable versatility make it an affordable and valuable option… Similarities & Differences Similarities

And though this is not truly a fair comparison, here is the same voiceover recorded with my Rode/Scarlett 2i2 combo (a setup that costs more than 4 times what the Samson costs). Voiceover recorded on Rode NT2-A through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface Comparison with Samson Q2U dynamic USB micExtremely detailed sound reproduction ideal for recording vocals, acoustic instruments, and just about any other sound source The C01U Pro is a high-quality USB condenser mic, and despite its budget price, it delivers the goods—and not only for voice recordings. While it may not be a replacement for your favorite Neumann, it provides excellent sound, and a high degree of convenience, to boot. The Specs My expectation was that the C01U Pro would sound significantly better. I’d love to get your opinion on how much better the C01U sounds than the Q2U in the comments below. I tested it on Mac, and sound quality was quite good -- in fact I used one recently for a webcast with good results. Assuming your mic is not defective, and you're not too far (or off-axis from) from the audio source, it sounds like input level may need to be adjusted with whatever utility is available within Windows 10.. And has no solution to it. (even if it uses their own driver, they seemingly just refuse to reuse working driver from windows 7)

So I actually bought this mic after testing with the Blue Yeti (which was too expensive), and I actually think I prefer the sound of this. A new mic from Samson offers true capacitor design and multi-pattern operation at an extremely affordable price. If you didn’t push the “Allow” button, you can get the “Allow” button to reappear by re-installing the software. How to fix Samson USB mics from disconnecting at random on Windows 10 by disabling "USB Selective Suspend" I actually ended up removing the pop filter as there wasn't a noticeable difference for me audio-wise.

From reading on forums, other people are recording at 40% and getting good recordings. Also many forum posts mention that they had this problem on Windows 8 and above but not on Windows 7. Unforunately, I don't have a Win 7 machine to test it on. Micro thu âm Samson C01U Promang tới tần số âm thanh chất lượng cao với Độ phân giải 16 bit, 44,1 / 48kHz

I originally got a powered external USB hub which solved My Samson C01U problem for a few years. Then something changed, and I suddenly lost the volume. I've been using the C01U for over five years on a Windows 7 laptop and struggled with the low volume problem. Recently I had to format and reinstall Windows - but that did not fix it for me. So many people rave about its sound quality, build, convenience, and versatility. It’s really an all-purpose mic that is super easy to use. Complaints include size (a bit large), and you can’t include a standard pop filter unless you Jerry rig it. People were also saying it’s hyper-sensitive, but recording in the right environment greatly helps. Finally, it has some compatibility issues as well, and the Cakewalk software isn’t very intuitive. Most everyone said just use Audacity. One reviewer said it best, there is the Windows camp that loves this mic, and the Mac users who hate it. In a nutshell: I'm using it on Windows 10, and it works fantastically for use in my Twitch stream, on Discord, and for recording vocals and guitar in Cubase. I have it hanging above my monitor and I often get comments on how good my audio is. Nevertheless, subjective testing suggests that the tonality does stay nominally similar, provided that you remain close to the mic's axis, regardless of which pattern is selected. The high end of the omni pattern will inevitably change as you move off axis, especially with a large-diaphragm capsule such as this one. Smart PerformerIn my experience, desk tripods make it difficult to to get your mouth close enough. And in a standard rectangular room in a house with no acoustic treatment, anything over 7 or 8 inches away will sound quite echo-y/reverb-y, almost negating the benefit of having a good quality microphone. Desk-mount “scissor” boom stands Today I’m going to be sprinting towards you all stoned-faced like Super Mario with another in-depth comparison review! This time I’ll be outlining the differences between the Samson C01u vs. Blue Yeti! Photo: Mark EwingThe quoted input noise is a reasonable, but by no means exceptional, 23dBA EIN, and in normal project-studio applications is certainly low enough to be considered negligible. At 10mV/Pa, the sensitivity is roughly comparable with many other studio capacitor mics, possibly just a decibel or two less, and the frequency curve is nominally flat for all patterns, with the exception of a gentle presence peak centred at around 7kHz. With the pad switched in, the mic can put up with SPLs of up to 142dB without flinching, and the specified frequency response is from 40Hz to 18kHz at the -3dB points. This classic USB microphone bridges the gap between mid-range USB audio adapters and professional products that require additional drivers, special software and/or excessive cabling. The C01U is USB compatible with any Mac or PC, as well as most DAW software programs. Its superior ability to produce pristine audio recordings with ease and mobility, along with the included desktop mic stand, mic clip, USB cable and carrying case, make the C01U a valuable addition to any studio. The Samson C01U Pro is a mobile musician's dream come true. With a simple USB connection straight into your computer, the C01U Pro brings studio-quality sound to your mobile sessions and podcasts. Musicians who record music on computers now have a simple, affordable way to capture high-quality vocal and acoustic instrument performances. And a built-in headphone amplifier delivers instant access to zero-latency monitoring. Get an easy-to-use and all-in-one recording solution with the Samson C01U Pro USB microphone.
