I absolutely love your books. I read one for the first time about six weeks ago and now I have read everyone except Baby City. You are my favorite author!!! I can’t wait until your next book comes out. Soon I hope! Reply And why even bother murdering Hunt? Just to open the door to make Brooke realize Shane is an issue? With the way this book went, it almost would've been better for her not to suspect anything at all and get ambused.

As a practicing physician, Freida McFadden specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with brain injury. The first thing Dorothy warned me was not to share any personal information, but I got careless. To be fair, a lot of these men don’t look like criminals.” There has been far too many issues to dismiss. The reason for the murder is so bad. Are we really going to buy that a life-sentence can be overturned that easily? Or that a correctional facility would hire someone associated with a prisoner even if they were that desperate?

Publication Order of Prescription: Murder Books

There was an incident out on the yard. Officer Hunt is bringing one of the inmates over to see you for an injury.” Kudo’s to the author for writing a brilliant story WITHOUT foul-language. 👍👍 I found some of the story a little repetitive through parts, but the story itself was overall fascinating and engaging and I needed to see this confusion resolved. I love your books but I do do get tired of how the men are so sexy and the sex is so great and all that. I just want to read a good mystery and don’t need all that “oh her husband is drop dead gorgeous, I hope he holds on to his towel” passages. Keep writing and it’s ok to have men who aren’t chiseled and women who aren’t longing for sex. haha Reply Somebody knows who Nora is. Somebody wants her to take the fall for this unthinkable crime. But she’s not a killer like her father. The police can’t pin anything on her.

While I’ve rewatched the original Scream multiple times, I saw the sequel twice at most, maybe 15 or 20 years ago now (yikes, that makes me feel old to type out). That is how striking the similarity here is, to immediately remind me of a movie/character I haven’t seen or thought of in years. Margie/Pamela simply is Mrs. Loomis. So now, the 3 lives of the “survivors” intersect in the present. Brooke is a nurse practitioner who is desperate for work and can only find a job in a all men’s penitentiary, the exact same one where Brandon is. Tim who was present also on that fatal night, and who was her childhood best friend, her first practice kiss, and now her son’s school principal, renews his friendship with Brooke and the more than casual interest that he had in her…( he claims he has always loved her). This had i Every book I’ve read recently, I’ve had to plow through. I finished them just to have something to read. Then, I started The Housemaid and I am totally smitten with it. Your style of writing is exactly what I LOVE! Can’t wait to read everything you have written. Thank you so very much!!!!!!! ReplyI’m one of those butthole people who foreshadows very early on and typically gets the endings right. WOW! I loved this and didn’t see the ending coming. The epilogue. ? ❤️ Great story! Read more Jyst read. House maid. Omgggggg best story ever read. I love u style and writing best. When is new one coming. Going out today agent all u books u best ever. Thanks uuuuu. What a great story. Read in 2 nights. Up all nite. Bestttttttttttt Reply Yes, she knows about his perfect ex-girlfriend, Francesca. The beautiful, brilliant chef, beloved by all his friends. But she thinks Francesca is out of the picture. She thinks Francesca is gone for good.

Then definitely do NOT read any of Hoober’s books! I read just one, and the story line was superb BUT the unnecessary cussing & sex is is beyond disgusting! That’s was it for me & Hoover! Thank God I discovered F. McFadden, her writing is like no one I’ve ever read & “normally” she doesn’t have the filth others tend to think we NEED to read for it to be a good book! News flash…we read to escape from the world we live in! We DON’T want to read cussing & sex! Reply The POV change in the epilogue made it even worse for me - first of all, the kid sounded much younger than 10 by the way it was written, in my opinion. But then he casually confesses to killing someone? HUH??? Please Lord, give me the strength to never listen to this type of book again. Just plain embarrassingly AWFUL! Brooke had met Shane’s mother when they were dating, just as Sidney knew who Mrs. Loomis was. But both mothers managed to change their appearances enough to successfully pull off altering their identities to get close to the main characters years later (nanny here versus a reporter in Scream 2). Side note: seriously, no one noticed or commented on the fact that Brooke was letting the mother of the man she sent to prison for attempting to murder her babysit her child. No one???It started out okay. I had high hopes. It was good until Brooke started using her brain all the time. This book would 100% be better if she doesn't think too much so she doesn't confuse everyone. Even she manages to confuse herself, if you can believe it. The Devil You Know” is the second novel in the “Dr. Jane McGill” series and was released in the year 2017. Dr. Jane McGill is currently in heaven. She has a great job at a VA hospital, a loving husband, and an adorable daughter. Granted, it would be that much more wonderful if her preschooler didn’t wake her up at three in the morning, and it’d be a miracle if her husband would change the toilet paper roll once every millennium. Still, in many ways, she lives the ideal life that she had always imagined. Yes, Shane Nelson did unspeakable things. But before he did those things, I had loped him. No, I had loved him.” Long descriptions at time but totally worth every word. The ending is nothinggg I saw coming…Don’t Miss! Read more

My husband and I lived near Raleigh, NC 40 yrs., & recently retired in a quaint town full of mysteries & many wonderful people sprinkled with some rather odd ones too! I’m sure they will pop up in one of my books in the near future! All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate. While there were some storylines I would like to have tied up a little neater, over all - it was good, and a lot more enjoyable than her other book Ward D. Don't even get me started on that disaster 😆
