Con apenas 100 páginas resulta muy difícil ofrecer una historia en la que los personajes estén perfectamente desarrollados (o das profundidad a los personajes o haces avanzar la trama), por lo que estos puedan resultar un poco planos. La autora en pocas páginas no solo intenta confundirnos con lo que parece ser un extraño triángulo amoroso, sino que también encontramos abusos sexuales y la falta de solidaridad entre mujeres. El final es lo más sinsentido del universo: 0 unidades de gracia, sinceramente y 0 creíble (aunque me ha gustado cómo el karma les ha pateado el culo).

Primo romanzo della Hawkins che finalmente riesco a leggere, nonostante i suoi precedenti siano in lista da quando sono usciti. Așa, a ieșit un roman despre 3 prieteni, 2 bărbați și o femeie. Doi se căsătoresc, al treilea pare să atenteze la armonia cuplului prin prezența sa perpetuă acolo. Apoi o crimă și unul dintre ei pare să fie vinovatul. Și de aici începe tăvălugul. O mulțime de detalii din trecut care la fiecare pagină schimbă perspectiva asupra intrigii până când, sincer, te cam doare în fund de cine și ce a făcut. Toți par antipatici. Totodată, n-am simțit suspans, mi s-a părut, după cum zic alții, o telenovelă mai puțin plăcută. Depinde de fiecare cum vedem lucrurile totuși. Vă spun sincer că, la început, chiar credeam că o să-mi placă, "Fată din tren" de la aceeași autoare mi-a plăcut datorită suspansului și twistului, dar aici.. totul s-a evaporat. Es un libro bastante corto y básicamente empieza con el asesinato del marido de la protagonista, quien es encontrado por el mejor amigo de ambos.

La storia ruota attorno a quattro adulti, tre dei quali, Edie, Jake e Ryan, erano amici sin dai tempi del college, e Lara, personaggio chiave che muove le fila del racconto. Teniendo en cuenta esta premisa no puedo decir que “Punto ciego” sea un novelón (es imposible que lo sea), pero si cumple con el objetivo con el que fue escrita: entretener.
