About this deal

A one-eyed wolf from Alaska. A boy from Africa. They stand on either side of the wolf’s zoo enclosure. Both have seen loss and tragedy on their journey to this moment. Somehow they manage to communicate to each other through a silent exchange and gain an understanding of each other’s stories. urn:lcp:eyeofwolf00penn:lcpdf:a7c24f9d-25c5-417a-a5bd-38482762e58d Extramarc University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (PZ) Foldoutcount 0 Identifier eyeofwolf00penn Identifier-ark ark:/13960/t9281f63j Isbn 9780763618964 Sometimes, you just learn listening to those kids and their vision of the world (and other times, after watching a Dora episode for the 50th time, you might not). Eye of the Wolf was published in 1984 in France but was only translated and published in English in 2003.

This story has reminded me a lot of The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. In the shortest book, you discover worlds you never thought existed and get to see animals in a different light. It is the type of book where children read one thing and adults read the same thing on another level and they can exchange ideas on the book. As a philosophical tale, the book can be read by anyone, from 8 to 88 years old (I mean, people above 88 can read it too, it's just an expression), and still be appreciated.

Using the portal to Aszuna in the Mage tower. Look for the nearby Illidari Stand flight point at 44.7, 43.8 in Aszuna. This is faster than flying directly to the unmarked Trueshot Lodge in Highmountain. In 1997 the book was made into a television special for French TV, directed and written by Hoël Caouissin. In 2003 it was translated into English by Sarah Ardizzone (née Adams) for which she won the 2005 Marsh Award for Children’s Literature in Translation.

Notes: My hunter did basic Legion quests and acquired a basic legendary weapon before Shadowlands. I don't know how much or how little you have to do to access Trueshot Lodge. Jump on Shadowbat 65.7 59.9, use kill 1 and 2 on mobs under you, when you will get 100% you will start fight with Amalgam use on him skill 3-5. But please understand, many of the Forsaken were once citizens of Lordaeron. They are trying to do something extraordinary here, and I promise, if you play along and help them, it will be worth the effort.
