I love, love, love this book. It has totally changed my mindset around money, and I've read it or listened to it a few times. By paying close attention to all those extra little bits and pieces of money that come your way, you’ll start to activate the Law of Attraction.

Being okay with receiving easy money. Stop believing that money can only be gained through hard work, stress, and tears. Because if you believe those, then it will be. Spend the weekend looking at beautiful houses/cars on the internet and go to open houses and/or test drive for expensive houses and cars to experience the ideal lifestyle. Pretend that you believe you deserve to be there. Whisper to the Universe “I belong here. This is where I live. Universe, this is what I want.”

I had a lot less anxiety in the second half of my search for a place and all that went along with it, and have a lot less money related anxiety in general.

Let me tell you a harsh truth: you can’t manifest money when you feel broke. You might think I’m missing the point – after all, why would you be reading this book if you already had all the money you needed?I didn't choose this book very much with money in mind, it was meant as a mindset book for me since I'm the owner of a luxury portrait business, and it does a nice job. Moreover, I think that the things she says can be applied to any goal one may have. I thought of trying her "believing in it" approach for my running goals to and might try out her five step method for the fun of it. Positive thinking works in all walks of life! I have a plethora of issues surrounding money. Not in keeping it/saving/not spending more than I have, but in always waiting for the other shoe to drop and me to not have enough of it for some necessity or another. There’s no perfect way to word your affirmations, and there’s not the definitive dream board software. Everything that you do compounds over time and helps you to achieve your goals; you just have to be consistent and persistent in manifesting your wealth. Like you, I didn’t want to be ordinary. I didn’t want to live in my small, cramped apartment on the outskirts of town, full of cheap Ikea furniture put together (badly) by my nonhandy hubby. Be patient.
