I was disappointed with 71034 Collectable Minifigures Series 23 towards the end of last year, as the series felt jumbled and included relatively few outstanding characters. Thankfully, this series represents a definite return to form. Almost every minifigure is highly detailed and many portray long-overlooked subjects within the Collectable Minifigures theme, covering varied interests. In Dave Duncan’s Great Game trilogy, WWI-era British who travel to another plane of existence end up coming across a race of white redheads, who they refer to as Carrots. And that’s all I can think of now when I see the carrot costume. A cool new T-Rex costume in the style of LEGO Tyrannosaurus Rex! Super cool and I can’t wait to get multiples! These are super easy to feel for if you want to be freaky in your local store one last time before we are all banished by the box. My feeling advice is below. The vibrant combination of white, lime green and pink looks brilliant too, particularly since those colours continue on the arms. Moreover, the legs are dual-moulded and decorated with metallic silver panels, which also adorn the sides of the legs. Triangular symbols provide further detail on both sides of the torso. Also, I think reviving the rectangular shields from the original faction would have been helpful, as their angular shape was important to the Trolls' aesthetic. The design on the shield is effective though, forming stretched leather. Also, the heavy sword remains unchanged from 2007, as this weapon has appeared quite consistently since then. And she generally only plays with Friends, Harry Potter and Vidiyo sets and figures. Classic Space has never been an interest of hers.However, I wonder whether children, for whom Collectable Minifigures are primarily intended, may be disappointed with this relatively plain character." The astronaut from Classic Space was available in five colours between 1978 and 1984 and several more have been introduced recently. Reddish brown is an unusual colour for an astronaut, but something distinctive is welcome.

I don’t think they triple-mold any legs at the moment. The short legs you refer to always have shorts and shoes in the same color, and are most likely dual-molded with just a band of color formed around the center of each leg. If they were actually triple-molded, we should have seen some tri-colored examples by now. Another, more recent, Castle faction is represented by the Orc. Trolls appeared in various sets from the Fantasy Era subtheme, distinguished by their sand green skin, pronounced lower teeth and rugged equipment. Olive green replaces sand green for this minifigure, although the leather straps and updated Troll emblem are recognisable from the faction introduced in 2007.

Ah. In the US, the majority of people probably never shop at a greengrocer, and a huge chunk of the population pluralizes with an apostrophe (and persistently mixes up homonyms, and persistently spells commonly used words wrong, and…), so nobody refers to it by a specific name. Additionally, dual-moulded arms are again used to superb effect and decorated to form rolled-up sleeves. The combination of white and yellow plastics alone would probably have been sufficient to represent rolled sleeves, but the printing appears even more successful. This minifigure also wears a satchel over his shoulder.
