Why in the world do I keep discovering these "loves" after they've been discontinued? And why are they even getting discontinued??? I don't think it is very popular so I guess it can be called a hidden gem. Make sure you get your nose on it. Versatility: I think you could wear it no matter the situation. Not to sweet (I wear it at the office), it's intriguing enough for a date and it's not overpowering so it can be your choice for a dinner or a drink. Do go for the Edp since it will probably last longer. That is the main differens here. But if the Etd is what You can find, get it!

I’m legit obsessed with Le Monde Gourmande, an affordable line of fragrances that includes this light and sweet vanilla perfume. It’s definitely decadent— hello, vanilla, brown sugar, and apricot—but the amber and jasmine help tone it down a bit from being too rich and heavy. I actually wear this in big crowds a lot without worrying it’ll give someone a headache.So, what can I tell you about Potion. Is it good yes? Is it great? no. for those who dont like this am not sure what else will please you.I am more than OK with the scent-sillage and longevity are good to me.It is clearly an evening,cold or cool weather scent.it will not work on a scorching day:you'll be choking yourself. Better vanilla than other modern fragrances but there is something very weird here: the Whole composition, after a while on both paper and skin smells a little putrid, like dirty water or in more optimistic way it smells like a sweet water city stream. If you like to byke along rivers you or close to ponds, you know that smell that in spite of being putrid can also smell a little attractive. Not nice in a perfume anyway.I don't get any from the top notes - like the scent is going straight to its heart to reveal everything best it has. Potion is wearable easy to like and a nice not costly choice for fall& cooler spring nights and even winter days but it's not really memorable..it can be used everywhere and by both mom's & girls..it's stays for about 4hours on my skin(much longer on clothes)and sillage is good when first applied but in about ten minutes reduces to moderate and then soft to moderate.it's versatile and easy to wear and can be a safe gift for alot of people. I see it as a good choice for someone who has always used simple pink fruity florals and now whats to step a bit further and get to know more complex,sexier fragrances without facing much difficulty in adapting
