Natural Bitter Orange Extract: Contains synephrine, which may enhance metabolism and energy expenditure. Please note parcels going via Australia Post (PoBox, Defence Adresses) may take longer than 1-3 business days. Now, this is an ingredient we’d hoped not to see in Pride. Bitter Orange Extract, as harmless and natural as it sounds at first, is actually one of the worse stimulants out there. Why is it so bad? Caffeine – do we need to say much about this pre-workout ingredient? A central nervous system stimulant, caffeine really is one of the best legal performance enhancers, though it does come at a cost. It can lead to jitters, mood swings, and energy crashes, but this is avoiable if you take lesser amounts and combine it with an amino acid called L-Theanine. This amino acid helps smoothen caffeine’s effects. Unfortunately though, Pride doesn’t use it.

All EAAs are important for muscle protein synthesis (MPS) and preventing muscle breakdown but the BCAAs are particularly important. And even within the BCAAs, leucine seems to be the most vital for triggering MPS, so it’s good to see that Pride has the right ratio of leucine to isoleucine to valine. Here are the calories and nutrients in one serving (1 scoop) of EHP Labs Pride Pre-Workout (strawberry snowcone flavor): Phosphatidylserine is a natural fat found in abundance in your brain cells. The levels of PS decline as we age, which can contribute to memory loss and cognitive decline in some people. This is certainly a great ingredient to include in a nootropic supplement – but we wonder could better ingredients be used in its stead in EHP Labs Pride? Just a rhetorical question! And if you discover that that dose is sufficient for you, you'll surely spend much less per serving. Skin Splitting OFF the Bone PUMPS is a mix of l-citrulline (2,500mg), Nitrosigine (750mg), and betaine anhydrous (500mg).

However, in terms of exercise performance, BCAAs don’t seem to help that much. But they are able to reduce soreness and may improve recovery. Yet the dose isn’t anything crazy in Pride Pre-Workout. Pentaffeine 5-Stage Energy Release (275mg) The caffeine content of EHP Labs Pride pre-workout isn’t too high. At 140mg per scoop, it should give you plenty of energy without causing side effects. But despite having so many ingredients, Pride didn’t include L-Theanine alongside caffeine. L-Theanine is an amino acid that helps balance out the slumps and jitters of the stimulant and can enhance its positive effects. You should first speak with a doctor about the possibility that any of the substances can raise your heart rate. These advantages, taken as a whole, provide a compelling proposition for the ambitious individual who is intent on realizing their maximum potential in terms of physical fitness. Pride also uses some ingredients that are on our “avoid” list, namely Bitter Orange Extract. This is an aggressive stimulant that can cause excessive sweating, nausea, and high blood pressure in sensitive individuals. When you combine it with caffeine, the risk increases. Pride Pre-Workout is advertised to boost endurance and overall physical performance with many top ingredients such as betaine and citrulline. As a result, you may be able to workout harder, for longer, achieving new PRs and physique improvements over time. Better Recovery? L-Citrulline, L-Leucine, Nitrosigine® (Inositol-Stabilized Arginine Silicate), Natural Flavours, Betaine Anhydrous, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine, L-Tyrosine, Malic Acid, Taurine, Sodium Citrate, L-Phenylalanine, L-Threonine, Sucralose, L-Lysine HCI, Caffeine Anhydrous, Silicon Dioxide, Calcium Silicate, Infinergy™ (Di-Caffeine Malate), SerinAid™ (Phosphatidylserine 20%), L-Histidine, L-Methionine, L-Tryptophan, Theobromine, Green Coffee Extract, InnovaTea™ (Green Tea Extract (Caffeine)), Yerba Mate, Natural Bitter Orange Extract (30%), Colours (Vegetable Juice, Beta Carotene)

It's important to remember that pre-workout is a stimulant and like any other stimulant, should be taken in moderation. Additionally, high-stimulant pre-workout supplements aren't usually a smart idea for pregnant women, so get your doctor's advice before purchasing. Always follow the recommended consumption guidelines we set for our products so you can push your workouts to their limits in a safe -way. Green Coffee Extract is another odd choice for a pre-workout. Don’t let the name fool you – this ingredient doesn’t actually contain much caffeine at all, it’s instead rich in chlorogenic acids, which are beneficial for burning fat. It doesn’t have any performance-enhancing benefits, however.

Who Should Not Use Pride Pre-Workout?

As we said, EHP Labs Pride has some excellent ingredients that should give a boost to your muscle pumps, concentration, recovery, and overall performance. To get the best results, you should take twice per day — first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and 15 minutes before your workout. Mix one scoop with 10 ounces of chilled water, but do not eat or take a protein shake within 20 minutes of consumption. This will support absorption. From the fully transparent label, we can see that most of the ingredients are dosed well or at least pretty close to optimal. And of course, you’ll get a better dose with two scoops per serving, but even most of the doses for the one scoop which we listed are likely effective. There are not enough active chemicals in it to bring about that alteration. Is Pride Pre-Workout Effective?

We’ve tested, analyzed, and researched over 35 pre-workout supplements in the past year alone, weeding out the ineffective and unsafe ones from the high-quality supplements. We’ve narrowed our list down to the current top 3 pre-workouts of the year, which you can see here: pdppro.com/most-effective-pre-workout-supplements/.
