About this deal
Russians, when I was there, were suprised at my preference for this vodka. Apparently it's not considered the best vodka by Russians, but it is my favorite. Much better than Grey Goose, which has too many extraneous flavors. The name also appeals to me in that it's reminiscent of the characteristically unimaginative company names used in the Soviet time, which is for me mildly nostalgic. The final product is a bit sweet and has rich flavor notes of orange peel, white pepper, vanilla, wheat, and rye. Beluga is an award-winning liquor, thanks to its unique production process (distilled malt spirit) and flavor profile.

Why We Like It: Husky vodka is an unassuming and clean vodka from Siberia and is one of the best vodkas with a mid-range price point and great mixability. Tilauksen peruminen tai palauttaminen Just tried Russian Standard and I am completely amazed. The flavor vs. price is amazing. If you like Liquor with some flavor...not just an alcohol aftertaste then this is for you. I still have the occasional bottle of Starka sent over from a friend (aged rye type), and this helps bridge the gaps nicely!!! You cant go wrong.Platinum is a luxury product of the Russian Standard series, released a few years after the release of the original Standard in 2001. It is made from wheat that was sown in the fall, wintered under the snow, started to grow again in the next spring and harvested at the end of the summer. Vodka is diluted with water that comes from Lake Laatokka. Compared to the original Russian Standard, Platinum has also been filtered twice through silver. This also gives the silver look on the bottle label. Years ago I saw Platinum on sale in Russia for about €6 (50 cl bottle), but I didn’t take it with me from there. In Estonia, the bottle was on offer for €13.95. In a 2006 overview of Russian premium vodkas for Vanity Fair, the "Imperia" product stood alone with a top A+ grade.
