Park: The Tamagotchi can meet and talk to various NPCs. Some NPCs appear at certain times of the day while others may give the Tamagotchi a special item if met.

Dance♪Session (Dream): The Tamagotchi will in a dance class with Miraitchi, Clulutchi, and Mr. Micchi. A thought bubble showing a left or right arrow will appear and the user must press A (left) or B (right) button in time to match the arrow's direction. As the game advances, two arrows will appear meaning the user must press a button twice. The game ends if a button isn't pressed in time or a wrong button is pressed. 10 correct selections are a perfect game. There are no on-screen icons, and therefore all information is conveyed through the screen and buttons. The Tamagotchi is cared for by filling its meters; it has Hungry and Happy meters, each consisting of four units, which are both empty when it's born. If either becomes empty, it will call for attention to fill them. Gudetama Catch (Sanrio): Gudetama will show a picture of himself on a thought bubble and the user must catch the corresponding picture on a plate they control. Pressing A will move it left and pressing B will move it right. There are 10 rounds, but making a mistake will end the game.If the Tamagotchi needs something, the user can press the C button for an animation to see what it needs. If the Tamagotchi looks away and shows a dizzy spiral, it's hungry; if it sulks, it's unhappy. If its Hungry and Happy meters are not empty, it will perform a Close Up. Tama Selfie: Pictures of the Tamagotchi can be taken and decorated with stamps, frames, and facial expressions. New frames and stamps can be earned from visiting the Park during seasonal events. Pictures are stored in an album, and the device can hold up to four photos. If a fifth photo is taken, the user will be requested to discard one of the previous four. Instead of moving around the screen like previous virtual pets, the Tamagotchi will always be positioned at the bottom right corner of the living room. Tapping the character will cause the character to come close to the screen, and bring up a menu of various options.

From the second generation onward, there is a chance twin babies will be born instead of just one. The babies may grow up to be identical or inherit different genetics as adults. When it comes time to marry them off, the user is able to choose which twin to marry.
