Yes. However, it is best to avoid spray tans in general because the effects of inhaling a spray tan are not known. When I want to be super tanned, I opt for the ultra dark shade (but in saying that, if you left ultra dark on for 4 hours, you would be left with a dark tone)

In short, the higher the DHA level (the ingredient that tans the skin), the more expensive it is to manufacture. If you look at other tan brands, their ultra dark shade will always be that little bit more expensive than their dark or medium shades for this reason. Every skin type and tan maintenance is different so my answer isn’t going to be a one-size-fits-all solution. This is just based on my own experience. The day before my holidays, I will apply a good layer of my ultra dark mousse (or else I will have a spray tan with my spray solution).All throughout the trip, however, I moisturise frequently to keep my tan looking its absolute best and lasting as long as possible. You should get 4-7 days from your tan if you are in and out of the water but the bottom line is to always bring a lotion or mousse with you so you can keep the tan topped up and have your colour looking fresh for your return home.
