Description

This frother doesn’t have a pour spout, which can make pouring out your foam a bit more clumsy, and that’s kind of a let-down for latte art lovers. For me, it’s exactly what I need for my coffee: I can pour in warm milk and there’s plenty of froth to spoon on top, creating at least an inch-high layer (if not more).

But, if you are fine with the above downsides, the Nespresso Aeroccino has some of the most amazing features to offer that will be a delight for your morning coffees! The product also contains a whisk for making dense froth, if less froth is needed the whisk can be removed. The quality of the treated milk wasn't quite as consistent as the Dualit, but the temperature was spot-on for a latte or macchiato, and the jug spout made it easier to pour - vital if you're trying to get fancy with patterns. This meticulous process ensures that the information you receive from Home Grounds is not only engaging and useful but also trustworthy and reliable.

Since the lid seal is like an elastic band we just pull it off and wash the lid and the seal in a bowl of washing up water with other pots. You still have four settings, including three different hot milk textures, which is the main selling point of this model. Considering that the Aeroccino 3 and the Aeroccino 4 create premium, cafe-quality foam, the Aeroccino 3 is more affordable and still an excellent value. You have limited counter space: If you’re short on space, the Aeroccino 3 is much more compact than the Aeroccino 4.

In a traditional steam wand, the texture of the foam is determined by the position of the steam wand’s tip relative to the surface of the milk.

If the truth be told, if you want the very best coffee at home you don't need a frother at all, you need a high-pressure steam wand attached to your espresso machine that steams the milk, creating a densely packed micro foam. The other two appliances should be cleaned manually, because their design prevents them from being submerged in water.

If it isn’t your cup of tea, and your style preference leans towards cute, retro, and funky, then the Smeg frother would make a great choice. That matters as different milk (dairy, oat, etc) froth differently, and a solid heating element can produce some excellent steam for microfoam. It is always a good idea to make sure you can get access to good support after your purchase; and here Nestle do not disappoint. The Aeroccino 3 is particularly obvious, as its single button glows red for hot milk froth and blue for cold milk froth. I really doubt your circuit board is actually cooked, the cheap thermal cuttoff fuse would have “sacrificed itself” before that happened. Cleaning the Aeroccino is almost as easy as operating it—just rinse immediately after use with hot soapy water (it’s not dishwasher safe, but who really wants to run their dishwasher every day? It requires two AA batteries and, obviously, you'll need to heat the milk first which is a bit of a hassle.

Indeed, even the best coffee machines can struggle to texture milk to the micro-bubbled, silky magnificence you crave. For example, Aeroccino 4 has two hot frothing options so that you can have more control over the texture of your desired froth. It's also the only model with temperature settings, so you can choose 50, 60 and 65°C, which is useful if you're heating milk for kids or hot chocolate, but we'd recommend cranking it up to max for your coffee, as that's about the optimum recommended temperature for heating milk. From pulling espresso shots in hipster filled cafés, to roasting beans to perfection or tinkering with espresso machines - we've been there, done that. They froth milk to create the perfect milk foam for the variety of espresso drinks you can make with Nespresso machines. However, there are Nespresso Aeroccino milk frothers you can use for creating milk-based coffee drinks at home. Other extras include a stainless-steel milk jug and thermometer and built-in descale function, essential in hard water areas. Thanks to the sealed, twin-speed magnetic drive motor and non-stick interior, unlike most models, where there's a hole or axle to inevitably get gunked up with dried milk, the whole whisk can be completely removed for easier cleaning.
