Anyone who enjoys American History, World War II History, or just a story with a ton of honor and heroism, this book is for you. I don't get the feeling as one reviewer wrote that he was a "sanctimonious" prig, but rather his time in Paris seemed to be purposeless, given what he had been through. The final release from their second album was the title track, " Trust", completely self-written, but only peaked at No. and for that this book doesn't get 5 stars; you're left feeling it could have been presented much better.

The follow-up single was "Just a Heartbeat Away", released commercially in Australia and as a promotional single in the US, which failed to chart. I already new the Hollywood version of the story from the Band of Brothers mini-series (which I recommend for EVERYONE). Though I admire Winters and believe he truly loved the men he served with, I don't think he conveys himself or his story very well in his writing. They spent the last part of the war in Germanyprocessing surrendering German soldiers and displaced persons.

I'm happy to see he got to live the long life of peace he hoped for after the war, living to his mid 90s and passing away just a decade ago.
