It is extremely important that you only use Tommee Tippee antibacterial Perfect Prep Filters with the Perfect Prep Machine. The Perfect Prep™ unit contains a probe that measures the temperature of the water in the tank which prevents the unit from dispensing if the water is above 27°C.

Some have claimed that this has happened even though they have followed Tommee Tippee's instructions for use, including regularly replacing filters and using the cleaning cycle.
