The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. The Blood Brothers is a cross over from the Sin Brothers series by Rebecca Zanetti, but you don’t have to read the Sin Brothers series to get a better understanding of this series. I understand that English isn't Chacour's first language, so I feel guilty criticizing his writing, but it's overly simplistic and reads in a juvenile manner. The book is about how Jews and Arabs are, in fact, blood brothers and should treat each other as such.Unlike in the first book that mainly focused on Ryker, this story is primarily focused on Heath’s life story and his efforts at finding true love. I admit it made me quite uncomfortable to learn about some things that occurred during the creation and subsequent settlement of Israel. Soon though, Israeli soldiers invade the village, first living alongside the villagers, but later forcing an evacuation. Blood Brothers tells the tragic tale of twin brothers who are born into a large working-class family, and the consequences of one of them being adopted by a neighbouring middle-class family.
