I am mad because I bought some in a hurry believing they only had 3 net carbs until I went to eat one and it does not unless I’m missing something but there is nothing else to minus out as these don’t even have any fiber! However, those who are either unable to regularly eat enough protein due to decreased appetite or illness, or who have increased protein needs as a result of high-intensity exercise might benefit from taking a supplement. If you’re after a protein bar that can satisfy your sweet tooth and that eats like a candy bar, Fulfil bars may just be the answer you’re looking for.

A deliciously smooth peanut butter centre with a soft creamy layer, surrounded in an indulgent milk chocolate coating and topped with a crunchy layer of peanuts. There’s a saltiness to the bar that also compliments it perfectly because chocolate and salt go hand-in-hand.This bar was also the thickest and chewiest of them all, making it eat much more like a traditional protein bar than the other flavors I tried. The bar’s crispy and light texture combined with FULFIL’s signature moreish milk chocolate flavour and delicious caramel creates a healthier on-the-go snac. If Fulfil could find a way to make these protein bars softer, like Barebells, they’d be one of the best protein bars out because the flavor is awesome. Overall, this flavor reminds me a lot of many other protein bars out there (like the Snickers Protein Bar) in both the average flavor and thick, chewy texture. However, Fulfil bars do not yet have the wide range of flavors available in the US that they have in the UK.

One note – although natural, these are on the high side for sugar content at 38g per 100g portion, as well as being higher in calories, fat and carbohydrates, so best used to fuel intense exercise rather than as an everyday snack. They have a satisfying, chewy texture, just the right level of sweetness, and a lovely dusting of desiccated coconut on the outside of each ball. But, every brand has to start somewhere, so here’s hoping they expand their flavor lineup in the future. Unlike so many other protein bars we tried, there's nothing dry, dusty or waxy here – only a touch of indulgence.If you’re after salted caramel flavor, this bar will fall short, but it’s still a very delicious protein bar overall. Increasing protein intake in a form that is palatable and suits their lowered appetite may be effective in protecting against muscle loss. The soft orange caramel and chocolate centre is encased in a layer of milk chocolate and studded with crispy biscuit grains on the outside – in other words it's choc-orange heaven. Although these bars have the slight chewy texture common to protein bars, it’s not unpleasant, and the chocolate chips add a pleasing contrast in texture.
