However, we see some improvement here from Intel, as it has now enabled memory overclocking on its B- and H-series chipsets. Bandwidth for the Core i5 chips was overall competitive with AMD’s Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 chips that were tested but fell short of competing with the faster Ryzen 9 processors in terms of cache bandwidth. The larger size of the L2 cache should still help performance, though, as it reduces the chance that the processor will need to go to the L3 cache or system memory for data. So AMD's advantage with gaming performance is overcome with the high clock-speed P-cores, and its advantage with multi-threaded creator workloads is dusted by E-cores working in concert with the P-cores.I've always sought to learn as much as possible about anything PC, leading to a well-rounded grasp on all things tech today. Regardless, the Core i5-14900K hitting 89 degrees C is still quite hot, and that it ran a bit hotter than the 13600K is also disappointing.
