This is a forever scent for me , its so inexpensive and I cant imagine when ill ever not want my skin to smell like fluffy vanilla sponge cake . BUT, the synthetic musk molecule (pretty sure they are using ambroxan) they use in this one is very noticeable to me in the dry down, whereas I don't find it noticeable at all in Tihota.Out of all the nemat fragrances I’ve tried this is the ONLY one that actually lasts and projects on my skin. If someone is close to you there is a chance of them being able to smell this, more so if they’re hugging/cuddling etc you, but it’ll mainly just be you. It doesn't compete with other fragrances, it just melds nicely with them, creating something warmer, sweeter, and unique. I wish they'd make it in a bigger bottle or as an edp though as I hate having to dab this on vs being able to spray it. I wouldn’t wear this by itself but I’d use this as a base and layer it with something else to give it more character.

To get this to last longer and smell more intense it needs to sit for a long time until the color darkens. This will probably be the last oil i purchase from Nemat as I let the current 3 I have darken/age with time.

By itself, VM's sillage is not the best, but when layering, this doesn't matter as much, and the partner scent often carries the VM vanilla in the final sillage. I do not like layering it with Amber by Nemat because after 30 mins it starts to smell floral on me, which I don't like.The name 'Lavender Lace' sums this fragrance perfectly, a slightly more delicate and sweeter version of the lavender scent we are familiar with. I love vanilla, but most vanilla-dominated perfumes smell too much like cupcakes, play-doh, or plastic. Compared to the 'Black Coconut' fragrance from Kuumba Made, this is a lot sweeter and creamier whereas Black Coconut is slightly more tropical and reminiscent of a Hawaiian Pina Colada. I will probably purchase this one when I come across a roller ball-- it seems like a great staple for any vanilla lover's collection!
