The gritty production paired with DOOM's distinct flow lays the foundation for the album's lyrical brilliance. Supplemented by a sampled hook, it offers a mouthwatering blend of production and lyricism that truly hits the spot. I appreciate it but most the time I just wish it went straight into Kon Karne, but on listens I do appreciate it, i’m glad it’s there. Production-wise, DOOM utilizes a fine blend of familiar and obscure sample sources, complimentarily working together to both satisfy and intrigue.

The beats sorta mock Modern Hip-Hop, relying on pianos, distorted strings, television themes before the 90s, random ambience, synthisizers and lightly-tapped drums rather than Sub-Woofers cranked up to Infinite. As always, some very creative production with many samples taken from monster movie soundtracks, old superhero storytelling LPs, plus some other unrecognizable sources. Daniel Dumile Thompson was a hip hop recording artist best known for his "super villain" stage persona and unique lyrics. I say 'solo' because a chunk of the album his instrumental and one song doesn't even feature him on the mic. The soundstage of the original is obviously much larger, with better instrumental separation, you can easily pin point where each instrument coming from.I was already on the superhero tip, watching some episodes of STAS (SUPERMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES - for the uninitiated) and was ready to digest something a little on the Marvel side. Quality of packaging is great, though I will admit that the sleeves themselves are quite tight so it’s difficult putting the records back in, but very minor issue, perfect release imo!
