The story line is a man is in love with the heroin of the book but she is interested instead in a very bad man, a killer, but doesn’t know it. It is a book that really affected me on an emotional level, as well as providing all the exciting thrills I seek out in this genre. Howard Coben became an auto read (and listen) for me years ago and this book is a perfect example as to why.
