This horrific pair love inflicting pain and go on a torture spree to get information, an endeavor aided by a corrupt cop. It was to be another shock twist when Lorraine confessed to the murder of Carlton Flynn in her interview - when as far as the viewer is aware he died in the boot of the car which was pushed into the lake by Dave. As well-heeled parents are seen watching their children playing lawn tennis at the club, an eerie moment will see the main character of Megan lock eyes with a mysterious woman in the crowds. Both should be compelling stories but the worst adaptations are the ones that are slavishly devoted to the text.
