Okay, I have to confess that about 40% in I had to take a peek at the epilogue cuz I need the assurance that there’s truly an and Raven. I haven’t listened to duet-style narration for a while now and this book reminded me how much I love it versus dual narration. It's a good match because the mfc's family has a company they want to merge, and she has been crushing on the mmc forever. THIS is when (after much threatening from granny, leveraging from her parents, and because of her leftover love) the mfc reluctantly reprises her role as betrothed and then marries the mmc.

Firstly what I have read of Catharina’s so far (Off-limits series) I have loved, but unfortunately, this story and trope was just not for me. The language in the story was highly repetitive, the MMC was a spineless walkover, and the FMC was worse. I don't know if the whole arraigned marriage aspect is my thing or not, but after listening to this book, I think I'll swerve the subgenre for a while.
Every after reading the book and already knowing what was going to happen my emotions were all over the place. Once again, there are supporting characters that I’m already drooling over possible storylines for him, as Ares has a lot of brothers who could use their own books. Of course as a bonafide Sebastian Yorky fan, I went into this to get my fix of his totally sexy narration and sure as hell got it.

I thought based on the blurb that this book wasa basic 'jiltedat the altar/runaway bride' trope, starring a pathetic sister who pinch hits on the DAYOF the wedding because she's been pining for the groom. The elusive billionaire media mogul is the man she’s always loved…yet he’s only had eyes for his sister. I’m going to try to read book two because I think the series sounds interesting, but if I’m disappointed again, I will leave this series behind.

I wonder how long it’ll take her to realize that the fictional men she adores so much are all written by women.All novels given here for educational and informational purposes to benefit site visitors, and is provided at no charge. All of that being said, I love that this series will follow all the siblings having an arranged marriage. You have to read this one to understand how that plays out sinceit's 50% yearning, 25% cruelty/manipulation and 25% sex.
