It can on occasion mean an actual death, but in the 15 plus years I’ve been reading with this deck it has never predicted a close death. I tend to get very frustrated when it appears because it’s almost always more of a wait then you can bear, at least while you are going through it.

I have owned these cards for quite a while and have never quite got the hang of some particularly the snake card but now feel that I have much more of a handle on it. By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Some readers believe that the card may change its meaning to its opposite according to whether it is near or far from the Woman/Man card. I have a question, are the combination meanings the same in reverse, for example a Rider and a Man is a visit from a man.So if you have the bear, the child, the clover and the fish, you’ve got a sentence that includes, something important, something new or a child, luck, and money. It softens most bad cards and even at it’s worst it still suggests that a positive and happy attitude will see you through.

Some cards have similar meanings or sub-meanings that reinforce each other or contradict each other. Scythe/ Lily– a sudden and unexpected illness, cuts, breaks, generally hurting yourself- take extra care! As for how often, the 7 card daily is a good one to learn how to put the cards together to make sentences, plus it’s a great way of learning just how mundane the answers can sometimes be. In traditional decks and spreads the Man and Woman are the cards that the whole reading centres around. Within a very specific reading, the Significator card can be the Tree for health issues, the House for home/house issues, the Fox for career issues, the Tower for legal issues, the Clover for money/luck issues, the Bear for money issues and the Fish for business issues etc. Each card in the deck has it's own personal meaning; for example the Anchor represents stability or holding something in one place, but when it's placed in combination with other cards - in this case the Ship and the Road, then it is more likely to mean that someone has been on a journey (either literally or spiritually) that has come to an end and they have found somewhere to settle. I do suggest that you don't use them to snoop on others though, it's highly unlikely that these cards would work in a shady manner however, they tend to be quite understanding of the imperfections of human nature.
