Band 2 schließt direkt an die Handlung des ersten an. Man sollte tatsächlich auch zuerst den ersten Teil gelesen haben, da man sonst vermutlich Schwierigkeiten mit dem Verständnis und der Handlung bekommt. Außerdem begegnen uns hier alte Bekannte, die dieses Buch an der ein oder anderen Stelle besonders lustig gemacht haben. This series has such wit and imagination, this book, even more than the last one, had me laughing out loud, and I love the characters, even though there's not much to them, it's just a warm, magical adventure. Great to read aloud to younger readers too!

The Tower At The End Of Time by Amy Sparkes is the perfect addition to The House At The Edge Of Magic series. Sparkes has also managed to create a really intriguing world, and I just wanted to spend more time inside the house, seeing more of these weird characters, and the world of magic around them. There are hints of bigger things here, of other worlds and places that exist outside of reality, of monsters and creatures from myth and legend.
