Service Above and Beyond - We see a lot of Lee fighting his emotions with this one. Not only is he finding himself strangely jealous about this woman that he is denying to have feelings for but then he puts her in danger and nearly loses her and it really affects him. BB does such an awesome job in this episode and though TFT is a favorite, this one just is so raw that it has to take 1st place.

To my surprise, Dante didn't do anything the first several days of the following week. I have to admit however, that although I did not enjoy this particular novella by Ms. Van Zandt, I did enjoy her way with words. With a unique way of world building, you almost believe in the possibility of ghosts or entities from the great beyond becoming corporeal if only for an hour and enjoying everything that it means to be human and alive. Therefore, although this novella did not do it for me, I will be giving Ms. Van Zandt’s work another try. And hopefully, next time I will not be left wanting with nothing but a cliffhanger and my own imagination to decide what will happen to the characters next. I didn't fully believe that, but I wasn't going to argue the point. All I cared about was helping Amanda overcome her self-repression... and me getting to enjoy it, of course. If Dante got some side action too, so be it. Once Amanda and I were a couple to the fullest, Dante would fall by the wayside--and I'd have Amanda all for myself.

I also liked her younger friends, Anne and Jane, they deserve their own book.
