While these Drunk Elephant dupes don’t have the exact same formulas as Drunk Elephant, they will nourish, hydrate, moisturize, and smooth your skin in the same way without breaking the bank. Plump, hydrate and nourish a pout with the indulgent Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm, a rich skincare treatment that works to support softer lips. The formula contains 10% AHA and 1% BHA in the form of glycolic, tartaric, lactic, and citric alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), plus salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA). Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract brightens the skin, helping to reduce the look of hyperpigmentation and dark spots by inhibiting melanin (pigment) production in the skin. It also contains 5% CeraVe Moisturizing Cream plus CeraVe’s MVE Technology which gradually releases moisturizing ingredients over 24 hours.

If you take a break from the Suspicious 6, your skin can reset to its happiest, healthiest state. It is formulated with Olay’s Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, a fragment of collagen Type 1 that is supposed to reduce fine lines, and wrinkles and improve your skin’s texture in a similar way that retinol does. As with lots of other great natural lip balms, this can also be used to soften dry cuticles, tame split ends, as a natural highlighter on cheekbones, and for on-the-spot moisturising. Versed Mood Lighting Luminizing Glow Drops (shown above in Sheer Golden) is a serum that comes in two shades to give you your most radiant skin.Its unusual shape- short and wide rather than a tube or a tub like most balms- also make this product extremely easy to fit into even the teeniest handbag, ensuring that I can top up on the go.

The bar cleanser gently removes dirt, oil, and makeup without stripping your skin of its natural oils. The alpha-hydroxy acid mix is comprised of glycolic, lactic, tartaric, and citric acids, while salicylic acid is the beta hydroxy acid in the formula.

The Babyfacial dupe has an even higher concentration of exfoliating acids and is less than 1/10 of the price of Drunk Elephant. Not-so-great for: Budget buys, since this is almost twice the price as one of my other lip-nourishing favourites, Frank Body’s Lip Balm. Having said that, this isn’t anywhere as expensive as some of the most designer brands (I’m looking at you Dr Barbara Sturm).
