The Steam Gardeners have repurposed it, and now use it to grow plants while keeping the old machinery running. Concept art showcased in The Art of Super Mario Odyssey depicts a replica of Starship Mario as a souvenir that was considered for Honeylune Ridge alongside other Super Mario Galaxy-inspired memorabilia. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, on the Mario Galaxy stage based off of the Super Mario Galaxy games, an airship from said games can be seen flying above the stage.
