About this deal

With your box cutter, carefully slice down the pencil line, being sure to only pierce one side of the cardboard (leave the side that's face-down intact).

There are no instructions per say with this design but, with a little imagination I’m sure you can make it work! If you're using a saw, it's really easy to layer 3 pieces of cardboard and cut them all out at the same time.I had an idea to create some Christmas trees that could somehow fold away flat for people with limited space, and I love how they turned out! If you're using very thin cardboard, you can probably skip this step and just crease your trees down the middle so that they can fold in half. Plus, it only took cardboard, paper and pencil/ pen, straight edge, box cutter or x-acto knife, scissors, flour and water to make wheatpaste (or glue), brush for spreading glue, and binder clips. I love how this tree is well made and sturdy enough to support having actual Christmas ornaments, garland and a tree topper. With your box cutter, carefully slice down the pencil line, being sure to only pierce one side of the cardboard (leave the side that’s face-down intact).

Take that first layer of cardboard, place it on the fabric, and offset it a little bit because we need to tuck it in. Keep in mind that to create one standing tree, you’ll need three flat cardboard trees of the exact same size. With a little creativity, you really can make all kinds of fun and festive decor for you and your family to enjoy. It’s a fun and safe project you can try with your kids, and the results, while simple, are also quite elegant. These 12 DIY cardboard Christmas tree crafts are just some of the wonderful things you can do with cardboard. So let's grab a paint stir stick, put some glue on the back side, turn it over, and press it onto the fabric. This is another fun DIY Christmas tree craft that’s perfect for kids (or adults who are young at heart).

So long as you have some left over boxes it should be able to blend in well with regular Christmas tree decor. Made from the boxes of the gifts you’ve given or received, this star-stacked Christmas tree from Craftalicious Me is a perfect way to fill your house with memories of the thoughtful gifts given and received by the people in your life. Although, this is a small design it could be scaled to make at multiple sizes; your imagination is the only limitation! I really love the idea of making one of these for a child and handing them a bunch of art supplies to decorate it. Finally, use the ruler to make evenly spaced cuts down both sides of the tree (be sure not to cut all the way through).

un and so utterly simple that you won’t have trouble with kids running around and breaking it or getting themselves hurt tripping over it, this easy cardboard craft is the perfect low cost decor for a worry-free holiday!
